I do not collect payment information through this website. Payments are handled via a secure third-party payment link.
Why I Collect Your Data
I collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry
- To assess whether we may be a good therapeutic fit
- To schedule a consultation or session
- To manage the therapeutic relationship
The legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interest (responding to your direct enquiry) and, where relevant, consent (your voluntary submission of the contact form).
Where you share sensitive personal information — such as health-related information or information relating to your sexual orientation or gender identity — this is processed on the basis of explicit consent, given by you voluntarily when you choose to share it.
How I Use Your Data
Your data will only be used to:
- Respond to your initial enquiry
- Communicate with you about scheduling and appointments
- Maintain records required by my professional body (IACP)
I will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How Long I Keep Your Data
- Enquiries that do not proceed to therapy: Data is deleted within 3 months of our last contact.
- Active and former clients: Session notes and contact records are retained for 7 years following the end of therapy, in line with IACP professional guidelines.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of access — You can request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
- Right to rectification — You can ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — You can ask me to delete your data, subject to my professional record-keeping obligations.

- Right to data portability — You can request your data in a portable format.
- Right to object — You can object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

I take the security of your personal data seriously. Enquiry emails and contact form submissions are stored securely within my professional email system. Session notes are stored securely in line with IACP guidelines.
Please be aware that email is not a fully secure method of communication. If you have concerns about confidentiality, please contact me to discuss alternative arrangements.
